About 6 weeks ago Eddie V's Restaurants Inc. sold the Eddie V's and Wildfish Seafood Grille to the enemy, Darden Restaurants (Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Longhorn Steakhouse). Not that Darden is intentionally evil, but it was sad to see them gobble up 2 unique concepts. I can't say that I blame the owners of Eddie V's either. They made a lot of money and may be able to start up some new concepts with that cash, or retire.
